In 2025, Macmillan Education Caribbean held their 3rd annual Young Environmental Scientists Competition, encouraging schoolchildren in the Caribbean to think creatively and sustainability while developing a solution to an environmental problem in their community. The competition received several video entries from primary and lower secondary students. The winners, and some notable entries, are combined in the video above.
In addition to editing the above video, splicing the best parts of each of the winners' video submissions into a concise highlight reel, I also worked on the visual style of the competition's promotional content, based on the competition's theme; Life on Land, the 15th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) set out by the United Nations. As part of this, I communicated with our designer to produce animal and environmental themed iconography. Promotion consisted of social media graphics and short clips from a television interview tailored for both portrait and landscape formats and platforms.
